Louisiana Aging Brain Study(LABrainS) Enters Fourth Year

The ongoing success of the LABrainS project has lead to a rapid growth of potential research opportunities. To address these opportunities, the IDRP will significantly expand the scope of research measures for this study in 2012. In addition to their regular annual assessments of cognitive functions and health history, participants will given additional options for participation including:

The addition of these measures will allow investigators to study their relationship with cognitive decline in the aging brain.

Open enrollment is ongoing and 2012 re-visits for existing participants are currently being scheduled. 

Participation in this study will require approximately 2 hours of time annually for each participant.
